I feel like I'm not the only one who finds myself thinking about how quickly technology has advanced, and something that seemed pure science fiction is now right at our fingertips. How is it that artificial intelligence, which just a couple of years ago couldn't draw properly, can now create incredibly detailed pictures literally at the snap of a finger? Until recently, if you needed a beautiful illustration for a project or paintings for an interior, you would look for an artist, wait weeks or even months for the work to be ready. And now you go to an image generator platform and voila, in a couple of minutes you have a work of art on your screen that looks like real art.
Neural networks amaze us with their capabilities, but do they always understand what we want from them? Can we completely rely on them and should we trust artificial intelligence?
Well, it hasn’t really affected my work much. Honestly, I’ve never even used an AI image generator. But when it comes to text, AI really helps. Although I don’t fully trust it with the job, it still comes in handy often. The only thing is, I’m always paranoid about text duplication. Even though I use AI, I make a lot of edits, and I don’t want my colleagues to just use the text as is.
