BA in Hindustani Music Honours (BAPFHMH)

The goal of the programme is to teach Classical music to students who want to learn it but can't do so through traditional means. This course is for serious music students who want to learn about the subject both theoretically and practically. The goals of the programme are to give students learning experiences that help them continue to be interested in learning Hindustani classical music, which is popular in a large part of the Indian subcontinent, and to help them gain a broad and balanced understanding of core elements like musical elements, principles, the history of music, the contributions of different musicologists over time, music education, and aesthetics theories as they relate to Hindustani classical music. The programme will also give students the chance to work together with other students on a stage production. This will be a one-of-a-kind experience for Performing Arts students. This programme is meant to give people a deep understanding of Hindustani classical music while also letting them learn about things outside of the field. The programme is good for ODL because it helps people improve their skills and abilities in both their professional and academic lives, which leads to job opportunities and overall growth.
