IGNOU Certificate in Community Health programme details
The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, and others collaborated on the development of the Certificate in Community Health. The programme aims to increase the registered nurses', RNRMs', and Ayurveda practitioners' knowledge, skills, and competences so they may operate as qualified human resources crucial to bolstering primary healthcare services at the peripheral level. Nursing professionals, medical experts, social scientists, and educationists from other allied areas have all contributed to the development of this curriculum. The program's primary goals are to improve learners' knowledge and abilities in providing community health care services, to build their public health management skills, to provide comprehensive primary care based on protocols appropriate to sub-centre level, to perform preventive and promotive actions for improving community health, to conduct common laboratory investigations, and to provide care based on protocols appropriate to sub-centre level.
