Certificate in Guidance (CIG)

The Certificate in Guidance Program is a collaboration between the National Council of Educational Research and Training and the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) (NCERT). With the help of this programme, participants will be able to identify children with special needs and problems and suggest intervention strategies for parents, teachers, social workers, volunteers, and other adults. They will also be able to understand child development and individual differences in the context of educational processes, as well as the ideas and procedures involved in guiding elementary school children for learning and socioemotional development. The Program is primarily intended for a target audience made up of educators, parents, social workers, volunteers, and other people with an interest in understanding and directing children.
