PGD in American Literature (PGDAML)

Sensitizing students to the various genres and facets of American literature is the goal of the Post Graduate Diploma in American Literature. The American Novel introduces students to the most notable American authors, and after that, we look at American drama, which is different from American theatre in terms of its text, context, and performance. Then, we focus on introducing students to the distinctive features of American poetry from its inception to the current era. Finally, we examine literary theory and criticism, which has been an essential component of curricula in colleges and universities around the world since classical times. This includes romantic critique, new criticism, feminist ideas, deconstruction, and modern theories.
